From listener Dina: "Hi! I heard about your music cancer day on the radio (I live in Oakland) and tuned in as soon as I woke up today. In March, my 30 year old twin brother, Nick, was diagnosed with a very rare and very aggressive brain cancer called APXA out of nowhere. He went to urgent care for a gnarly headache and was immediately sent to surgery. They were able to completely remove the golfball-sized tumor and he has been going through radiation and intense chemo ever since. After his diagnosis, Nick has been living every day to its fullest - he is a light to the members of his Santa Barbara community. He gives off an aura of love and positivity and has been inspiring everyone he meets these days. Today he has another MRI to check that the tumor is still gone. Please send positive thoughts and prayers that the tumor never comes back!! Nick is an incredible drummer and plays in a couple bands in Santa Barbara. He started the band Pookie while we were in high school and joined Uncle Uncle a few years ago. An article about Nick came out today in the Santa Barbara Independent. Here is the link if you want to take a look or post it! I am his twin and may be biased… but I believe his story thus far is incredible. www.independent.com Thank you for sharing music and stories today! Peace & Love"
