Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs

Performance from last Sunday's Grammys ceremony. Tracy Chapman first performed “Fast Car” at the 1989 GRAMMYs where she won the award for Best Female Pop Vocalist. Luke Combs frequently covered Chapman's “Fast Car” during live concerts, but only released his cover as part of his March album "Gettin' Old." At the 2024 GRAMMYs, Combs was nominated for his rendition of the track for Best Country Solo Performance.
