Thor is a heavy metal band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band was founded in 1973 by Jon Mikl Thor, a Canadian musician and bodybuilding champion. The band is known for its combination of heavy metal and onstage performances which included props, costumes, and feats of strength.
