Tagnaby Simo Lagnawi

London. Simo Lagnawi is a Gnawa artist -- an ethnic group that descend from the ancient Ghana empire. Gnawa music heavily centers around the sintir, aka the Guembri, a three stringed bass lute. Simo moved to London to pursue a musical career, and was influenced by Balkan buskers there.
