Peace to you Suzanne -- Thom Yorke said, ""Some people can't sleep with the curtains open in case they see the eyes they imagine in their heads every night burning through the glass. Lots of people have panic buttons fitted in their bedrooms so they can reach over and set the alarm off without disturbing the intruder. This song is about the cupboard monster."John Richards - Mar 5, 2020

9:21 AMThe 18 tracks of raw audio are identified only by numbers "MD111" through "MD128," so discovering what songs are actually on the discs will be an Easter egg hunt, though some fans have been cataloging it on a shared Google doc. Here's that doc: bit.ly - Aug 28, 2018
7:33 AMSpeaking with the bands Jonny Greenwood he said “I got very excited at the prospect of doing string parts that didn’t sound like ‘Eleanor Rigby’,” Greenwood told the Guardian, “which is what all string parts have sounded like for the past 30 years.” Instead, Greenwood would take his cues from Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki – specifically, his 1960 piece, Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima. Radiohead’s sonic wizard emulated Penderecki’s ominous discord by having the 16 members of a string section play a quarter-note apart from each other. The resulting sound is unsettling. - May 21, 2018

6:26 AMDefinitely one of Radiohead's spookiest songs, Thom Yorke had this to say about "Climbing up the Walls": ..."This is about the unspeakable. Literally skull-crushing. I used to work in a mental hospital around the time that Care In The Community started, and we all just knew what was going to happen. And it’s one of the scariest things to happen in this country, because a lot of them weren’t just harmless… It was hailing violently when we recorded this. It seemed to add to the mood" - Sep 24, 2015
