Dr. Lyla June Johnston (aka Lyla June) is an Indigenous musician, scholar, and community organizer of Diné (Navajo), Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) and European lineages.

Lyla June is an internationally renowned public speaker, poet, hip-hop artist and singer-songwriter of Diné (Navajo) and Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) lineages, as well as a co-founder of the Taos Peace and Reconciliation Council, which focuses on developing systems to heal intergenerational trauma and ethnic division in northern New Mexico.
