For 36 years, Don Yates has been a foundation of KEXP. Serving as our longtime Music Director and the host of Swingin’ Doors, Don’s enthusiasm and love for music and voracious listening habits have been the lifeblood of our organization. As Don bids farewell to his time at KEXP, we’re taking the chance to celebrate our love for him with a full day of Don Yates appreciation. All day our DJs will pay tribute to Don in their own way, culminating in his final broadcast as Don Slack on Swingin’ Doors at 7 PM PT. Tune in all day and join us as we honor our beloved friend and colleague.
