15:26 PMPreviously known as The Charlemagnes, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes were on of the biggest soul groups out of Philly in the 1970's. They stayed together and performed regularly until Harold's death in 1997. The group is even mentioned on Snoop Dogg's 1993 album "Doggystyle" - Jan 15, 2018
