Diskoby Golden Dawn Arkestra

Austin, TX. Golden Dawn Arkestra is an Austin psychedelic afrobeat collective. Being heavily influenced by Sun Ra, the band is in the same vein, stylistically, frequently introducing costumes and an aesthetic in their performance. The group uses instrumentation that includes horns, percussion, synthesizers, vibraphone, and bass clarinet. At the end of February Gold Dawn Arkestra released their most recent album Stargazer.
