FORD TRIO

Ford Trio is a band based in Bangkok, Thailand. Ford Trio aims to create their music by interpreting their expressions through new dimensions of sounds since 2018. Mong Tong's music is heavily influenced by Southeast Asian culture, including its mythology and folklore, as well as 60s and 70s psychedelic music. Their sound is characterized by hypnotic rhythms, dreamy melodies, and otherworldly atmospheres.

FORD TRIO, a Thai Funk band, has collaborated with Mong Tong, an Experimental music duo from Taiwan, to release an EP album together called 'Khun Pra!'. Representing vastly different musical styles, the project was recorded during Mong Tong's tour in Thailand. They joined to record songs with traditional Thai musical instruments for FORD TRIO, and later reinterpreted the entire sound, infused with Mong Tong's signature experimental vibes. Ford Trio are a Thai funk group based out of Bangkok. They'll be touring with Mong Tong throughout Thailand.

"LET THEM KIDS SEE" translates directly as "Let the kids watch" or "Let the kids see." This album explores the playfulness of Ford Trio "Korkai" (a Thai word describing a dance move resembling a chicken neck) and the essence of "Muan" (a Thai word representing a fun emotion) through Soul and Funky music, ultimately transforming the Dance floor into "Nahan" (a Thai word representing the world of Thai southern dance) at last!
