Poland. Young modern Polish alt-rock musician Monika Brodka started out as a reality TV singing contest, and has since come into her own as a creative force of consequence.

29 year-old Warsaw, Poland artist Brodka first came to fame after being declared the winner of the 3rd season of Polish Pop Idol in 2004. Clashes is her first English language album, and was written and recorded during her international travels between Warsaw and NYC.
