John, Thank you for playing Hysteric. I did not request it but oh how I needed that. Just turned up the volume, sat down on my living room floor and cried. This year has been an awful mess and has recently gotten exponentially harder for me as I await a cancer diagnosis. One may see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, with Eddie Vedder, Liz Phair, Johnny Marr and many other great artists at Ohana Fest’ in Dana Point, California on Saturday, September 29th.

Just stumbled upon a website naming this as a "song worthy of any bride's epic walk down the aisle." Um, ok.

The band says this album sounds different from their previous ones but "still [sounds] like Yeah Yeah Yeahs." It was originally set to be released April 13, but following the leak to the Internet on February 22 the band's label, Interscope, released it early. It's Blitz! was named the second best of 2009 by Spin Magazine and third best of 2009 by NME

Released in 2009, It's Blitz! was the third album from Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The band reportedly began the writing process "in the middle of a snowstorm, in a hundred-year-old barn in rural Massachusetts."

Karen O, wrote and performed the soundtrack to Spike Jonze's children's film Where The Wild Things, for which she earned a Grammy nomination. "Since as early as fifth or sixth grade I wanted to do stuff for kids.," said the singer. "That's my biggest goal, to focus on children's entertainment."

At the time, one reviewer compared It's Blitz! to Eat to the Beat-era Blondie, which seems like a good comparison. "Heads Will Roll" also remains one of the few songs not ruined by Glee.
