We had kind of a rough start—she was 8 weeks early and spent 75 days in the NICU at Swedish, but now she's a giant, happy, healthy baby! We've been listening to KEXP every day together since we brought her home. Her entire face lights up whenever any music comes on. "Mah Na Mah Na" was written by composer Piero Umiliani for an Italian "mondo" film (exploitative pseudo-documentaries) about life (mostly sex-related) in Sweden, titled Svezia, Inferno e Paradiso (Sweden, Heaven and Hell).
