skinshape.bandcamp.com Pedro Mizutani is a 23-year-old Japanese and Brazilian artist who was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. After starting to post videos of himself singing on TikTok, he managed to gather a big community which helped him to be noticed by the indie label Nice Guys Records. The young singer-songwriter is inspired by the bossa nova pioneers like João Gilberto, Nara Leão, Baden Powell, João Donato and countless other artists. He combines those influences with his personal experiences as a young adult to narrate the beauty and complexity of growing up in Rio.
