Bjork will be turning 50 this month.
Björk appeared on Icelandic radio in 1976 through the music school she attended, leading to the release of her first solo album in 1977. The record was a mix of covers from The Beatles, Melanie Safka, Stevie Wonder and this cut: Edgar Winter's 'Alta Mira.' She purchased herself a piano and began composing original songs.
South African singer-songwriter Yannick Ilunga previously worked with Solange Knowles.
