Guitarist Aaron Dessner explained to The Quietus the valuable role he played: "Sufjan came in one day when we were struggling with 'Afraid Of Everyone' – that song was very difficult to make happen – and he just started playing the harmonium and singing along with it. Gelbison were an Australian pop rock band formed in 2000 by Pete Farley on bass guitar, Dave Galafassi on drums, Edo Kahn on vocals and guitar, and his brother Nadav Kahn on vocals and keyboards. Their debut album, "1704", was produced by Ian Ball of the British band Gomez. Ex-members of the band now perform as Kahn Brothers.
