Brand new track released TODAY by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. This is the second bout of new music the band have dropped in 2020, following the release of ‘Honey’ last month. “Some of Us” finds the members of King Gizzard awash in a type of thermal heat sensor, and the resulting effect makes them all look like a combination of the Fantastic Four‘s Human Torch and a demon of sorts. Combine that with the classic guitar progression that mimics and matches Stu Mackenzie‘s vocals, and the result is something nightmarish, which makes the band’s teaser post from Tuesday that read “Coming to haunt your dreams in 15 hours” all the more relevant. bit.ly And watch the full video of this track here: youtu.be

BRONSON, the new collaboration with local duo ODESZA (Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight) and Australian deep house / dance DJ and producer Golden Features. Their debut album released August 7th. On “HEART ATTACK,” BRONSON reflects that it “was the first vocal track we worked on for the record. It was one of those ideas that came together really quickly and felt very natural while writing with lau.ra. Ultimately, it was a confluence between the two distinctive sounds of ODESZA and Golden Features. It served as a turning point in the writing process of the album and an inspiration for the other vocal tracks to come.” wearebronson.bandcamp.com

The Black Keys eighth studio album 'Turn Blue' was co-produced by Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton. "This may be a weird statement to make about one of North America's most popular rock bands, but the Black Keys are survivors. The majority of the duo's colleagues from the early 2000s have since called it quits, but the workmanlike Akron boys Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney kept their heads down, dutifully churning out gutshot blues-pop mimicry that carried just enough of a punch to establish them as, at the least, a reliable stadium-act opening band." ~ Pitchfork album review. bit.ly

On 'Remind Me Tomorrow", Sharon Van Etten has radically shifted her presentation, compared to her previous four albums. AllMusic writes "Each song is constructed like a short story and is given a distinct feel, but they're held together by Van Etten's subdued fearlessness. Throughout Remind Me Tomorrow, she plumbs the depths of contentedness, setting her satisfaction to a sound that's nominally dark yet strangely comforting and nourishing. Even if this album doesn't speak to your specific life, it will nevertheless enrich it." bit.ly
