Bill in Ann Arbor writes in: "There has been a lot of talk about Coronavirus/Stay-at-home songs, and there is one track that has been looping in my head for the last seven weeks (!) – Coldplay’s “Don’t Panic.” This song really fits with the duality of my stay-at-home experience. My day usually starts with pessimism and dread as I get caught up with the news and feel “All of us are done for.” Then my kids get up, we go for a walk, and I start to experience the joy and beauty in the world – “We live in a beautiful world, yeah we do.” It is amazing how quickly the pendulum shifts between doom and joy, and this song takes me on that journey. I would appreciate it if you played “Don’t Panic” and I will try and focus on the beauty in the chorus and not dwell on the doom of the verses."
