Wajatta consists of comedian/musician Reggie Watts and electronic music artist/DJ/producer John Tejada. This track has a cheeky and lighthearted vocal delivery, which defies the anxious lyrical content: "I got a lot on my mind"!
The duo describe Wajatta's music very broadly as “electronic dance music with its roots in Detroit techno, Chicago house, ‘70s funk and New York hip hop” but new EP “Do You Even Care Anymore?” released on 3rd December 2021 encompasses the next evolution of their sound. “It has developed into something a bit deeper,” says John. “While our process and Reggie’s vocal improvisation work is still the same when we record, there’s just something new that we settled into this time. The music and the lyrics got a bit deeper.”

Smith was born in Omaha, Nebraska, United States (US), raised primarily in Texas, US, and resided for a significant portion of his life in Portland, Oregon, US, the area in which he first gained popularity. Although not explicitly stated lyrically, it seems most likely the song depicts the narrative of two star-crossed lovers, a relationship which is thwarted by outside forces."

Back in December 2020, Dionne Warwick took to Twitter to poke harmless fun at the stage names of high-profile artists, including The Weeknd and Chance the Rapper. From there, it was announced that a surprise collaboration titled “Nothing Impossible” was in the works featuring all three acts.
Nearly a year later, the inspirational track has surfaced with Warwick and Chance joining forces. The Weeknd is not featured. Instead, the duo is backed by an uplifting choir and receives a co-production and co-songwriting assist from Warwick’s son Damon Elliott.
