Celebrating the infamous year of 1996. Andrea Martin, a renowned singer, songwriter and producer best known for her work in R&B, died on September 27, 2021. She was 49. Andrea was behind many top R&B songs, co-writing En Vogue's 'Don't Let Go (Love), Monica's "Before You Walk Out of My Life," Angie Stone's "Wish I Didn't Miss You," and SWV's "You're the One."

The original track was recorded by the Philadelphia soul group The Stylistics and Detroit’s R&B vocal trio The Jones Girls. “It feels like how Welcome To Jamrock by Damian Marley felt when I first heard it, and Lila’s voice adds this eerie and haunting element to an already dark and grimy riddim,” he continued. Protoje’s new single, which was co-produced by UK heavyweight DJ and beatsmith Cadenza, intricately weaves 1970s American soul and 1980s Jamaican lover’s rock into a modern-day masterpiece.
