The Edinburgh-based trio are back with their first new music in four years. In a statement, the Scottish trio (Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole, and G. Hastingssaid) said about "Geronimo":
“It’s a track about contrast, because life is contrast - pushing through, giving up, all at the same time. Wanting everything and then wanting nothing, then wanting everything again. It’s kind of reflective of where we are at the moment, trying to remember how to do this again.”

Jean Grae was born Tsidi Ibrahim to South African jazz musicians, Sathima Bea Benjamin and Abdullah Ibrahim. Though it was never released, her mother (along with her father's trio) recorded what would have been the first jazz LP in South Africa's history entitled My Songs For You (1965).

Happy 72nd birthday to Michael Rother!
Having broken off from an early incarnation of Kraftwerk, Michael Rother and Klaus Dinger quickly began the recording sessions for what would become Neu! It was released in 1972 by Brain Records. It was the first album recorded by the duo of Michael Rother and Klaus Dinger after leaving Kraftwerk in 1971. They continued to work with producer Konrad "Conny" Plank, who had also worked on the Kraftwerk recording sessions.

'Happy Hour' is the latest release from London-based Hollie Cook. Since 2010, Cook has had a career as solo artist working with producer and songwriter Prince Fatty, and releasing her first solo LP in 2011. Prior to that, she had been a member of the final lineup of all-female punk/reggae band The Slits. Cook is the daughter of Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook, and her mother, Jeni, was a backing singer for Culture Club (Boy George is Hollie's godfather).
