Their from Australia, not Portland. They may be too young too grow beards or have wives, but they are not too young to carve out their space in the sonic, psych guitar rock scene of Australia along with sister band Tame Impala.
SVIIB may be short one half of the twin sister harmonies you grew to love with their first two releases but with some well worked multi-tracking and they have not lost the ability to write amazing songs. Here's a little gem from History.com, "Barbie's appearance was modeled on a doll named Lilli, based on a German comic strip character. Originally marketed as a racy gag gift to adult men in tobacco shops, the Lilli doll later became extremely popular with children.
