Blues legend Freddie King was born on this day in 1934. King is considered one of the three kings of electric blues guitar, along with B.B. and Albert King. He was ranked No. 15 on Rolling Stone's list of the Best Guitarists of All Time.
King was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2012, thirty-eight years after his untimely death. King is perhaps best known for "Hide Away," and "Have You Ever Loved a Woman," which were both quite successful.
