Comfort World is the first Cumulus release since the 2013 debut release. The album’s title was derived from a billboard for an abandoned mattress store in Yakima, Washington. “In the moment I saw the sign, I found it reassuring,” Alexandra Niedzialkowski explains. “I thought that ‘Comfort World’ was positive and where I was supposed to be. Cumulus will be live on KEXP on The Afternoon Show on Wednesday, November 21 at 3pm.
