The American Analog Set rose after the fall of Dallas' Electric Company in 1994. They released six studio full-lengths from 1996 to 2005.
Singer and songwriter E whose real name is Mark Oliver Everett, is the brain behind Eel's stinging sound. He decided to go by "E" because many of his friends were also named Mark. E turned to John Parish to help him write and cultivate 2001's 'Souljacker'.
Houses' Dexter Tortoriello released musical outlet, 'Still Life' in 2014. With the help of Diplo, Tortoriello moved across the country to the Mad Descent studio to cultivate this personal record over the course of three years.

England's Elbow is Guy Garvey, Richard Jupp, Craig Potter , Mark Potter, and Pete Turner. They have been playing together since 1990 before adopting their band name in 1997. 'The Take Off and Landing of Everything' is their sixth release and most current to date. Produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, U2's fifth studio record, 'The Joshua Tree' arose on March 6th, 1987. U2 themed this record after American tour experiences, literature, and politics. 'The Joshua Tree' topped the music charts in over twenty different countries.

Songstress Sharon Van Etten started her music endeavors at an early age performing in choir and studying clarinet in school. She moved away from New Jersey to Middle Tennessee State University and studied recording, but dropped out of college after a year. After encouragement from Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio, she moved to Brooklyn in 2005 where she began releasing her work. Active between 1964 and 1973, The Velvet Underground laid the foundation for many of today's influential acts. 'Loaded' was the fourth record of the group and the last one with Lou Reed who left the band just prior to 'Loaded's release.

After opening for Arcade Fire in 2003, Montreal's Wolf Parade composed a four track EP and caught the attention of Modest Mouse's /Former Sub Pop A&R Rep Issac Brock. 'At Mount Zoomer' was their sophomore release which was supposed to be named 'Kissing the Beehive' but the idea was tossed due to fear of copyright infringement of Jonathan Carroll's book of the same name.

Iconic songwriter, Woody Guthrie passed away in 1967 but the songs he never recorded brought new life to his music when Billy Bragg and Wilco released 'Mermaid Avenue'. His daughter Nora discovered thousands of proposed lyrics that were never recorded so she approached the band to give the world more Guthrie.

Whenever I see the name 'Echo & The Bunnymen', I think of the creepy dude clad in a bunny suit from cult movie, "Donnie Darko". I would say the band would pair well with this movie. Echo & The Bunnymen are Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant of Liverpool. The band has released twelve records total.
