In addition to The Beatles, Producer George Martin and Manager Brian Epstein had Gerry and the Pacemakers on their roster. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is the anthem of the Liverpool Football Club. Today marks the anniversary of The Hillsborough Disaster of 1985 that caused the deaths of 96 people and injured 766 others, at a football match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest

After uncovering unrecorded lyrics of Woody Guthrie, Billy Bragg & Wilco were contacted to create Mermaid Avenue to bring life to these lyrics.
Billy Bragg who collaborated with Wilco also released a massive catalog of solo work including this track, "Sexuality" which he co-wrote with Johnny Marr.
Johnny Marr joined Modest Mouse from 2003 to 2009 including this release from 2007.
Johnny Marr is also featured in The Smiths 'Louder Than Bombs' from 1987.
