Seattle's Amy Blaschke released her sixth record 'Breaking the Blues' in 2003. In an interview with American Songwriter, she details her process in writing "Under My Skin":I started this song with the title. I was surprised to find the only major song title out there is Frank Sinatra’s “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”. It’s something I do sometimes, start with a title. “Under My Skin” brings me so much imagery, and I was drawn to the imagery of musical vibration, the physical shivers of excitement, the invisible energy that gets to you when newly infatuated."
'Chelsea Girl' is the debut solo album by Nico, released in 1967. The name of the album is a reference to Andy Warhol's 1966 film Chelsea Girls, in which Nico starred. She passed away on July 18th, 1988.
Atlantic label head Ahmet Ertegun supposedly asked Lou Reed to avoid sex and drugs in his songs, and instead focus on making an album "loaded with hits" in 1970. Lou Reed answered with intended irony but the record literally was full of hits. The record landed later that year but Lou Reed left the group shortly before it was released.

A Sunny Day in Glasgow began as a collaboration between friends, Ben Daniels and Ever Nalens. The band name came from Nalens, who had been living in Glasgow, and Daniels kept it after Nalens left the project. At the Drive-In hails from El Paso, Texas, formed in 1993. The band currently consists of Cedric Bixler, Omar Rodríguez-Lopez, Paul Hinojos, Tony Hajjar and Keeley Davis. They released the stellar 'Relationship of Command' in 2000. They eventually broke up to form other projects including The Mars Volta and Sparta. In 2012 and this past year, they have reunited for tour and have said they will release new music.
