On this day in 1990, Nirvana performed at Seattle's Motor Sports International Garage, their first (and only) live gig with Mudhoney drummer Dan Peters. Dave Grohl had flown out to Seattle the day before, and was in the audience watching the show. He became their new drummer only days later.
