Grant-Lee Phillips is nicer than Ian McCulloch or so I've heard. Not that Ian isn't nice, Mr Phillips is just, well, nicer. And both guys are nicer than Richard Butler, who is also nice, but not quite as nice as these other two guys. Oh, and this is a cover of a Psychedelic Furs song
War Child Presents Heroes is a 2009 charity album devoted to the War Child charity's aid efforts in war-stricken areas, such as Iraq, Uganda & Afghanistan. It features covers of some pretty well known songs (like this one) by artists such as The Hold Steady, Hot Chip, Beck and others. It's pretty good & proceeds still go for a great cause.
