The second song released by LIV - Lykke Li's group that includes a few of her fellow Swedes from Miike Snow and Peter Bjorn & John’s Björn Yttling — as well as the American producer Jeff Bhasker. No news yet of an album release, damn them!

Happyness are a 3 piece band from South London and, according to their bio, they originally formed in early 1973 and then went "on hiatus pending their births and the sufficient progress of the affordable digital audio interface market". Regrouping in 2013, they then spent Saturday nights playing under a bridge until they had enough music for "most of an album"...I can't wait for their album to drop in May!
Their 5th album and it landed them a major record deal. The rest is, as they say...shoot, what do they say anyway? and who the hell are they anyway? Personally, I've always liked Them better..."Here Comes The Night" is a killer song...even Bowie covered it. true story. It's on 'Pin Ups' and maybe you'll hear it during our tribute to David Robert Jones starting this Sunday.

This is a reissue of a live concert album from 1961 and it sounds great. Ray rips into a few tunes he’d already made popular, in addition to songs and arrangements crafted by a certain up-and-coming talent named Quincy Jones. (The two men met in their teens; Jones later gave Charles some arrangements that he’d already released on his own.) dig it.
In addition to Stevie Wonder, the remix of "Black America Again" features guest verses from rappers Gucci Mane and Pusha T, alongside the additional guest vocals from BJ the Chicago Kid.
this is a really good song. Know how I know? we're all nodding our heads to the beat in the booth.
Cher's cover of this song is just.so.wrong www.youtube.com

Pitchfork says that on this album the band "recreates the sounds of the ’70s using the ’90s pastiche techniques of Beck, Ween and Royal Trux, compacting glam-rock, southern boogie, and Stax sax stabs into 8-bit videogame proportions." I don't have a clue what that means, but I dig the song. how 'bout you?
