KOD is an English three-person band from Tooting, South London. They started playing together in 1986 and released four studio albums and a handful of singles and EPs before disbanding in 1996. "Drive That Fast" was their highest charting hit, reaching #93 on the UK Singles Chart in 1991.

Originally recorded and released as a single in 1984, PSB re-recorded the song when they signed with EMI and it was released in October 1985 hitting number one in both in the US and UK in 1986. 20 years after its release, the song was awarded Song of The Decade between the years 1985 and 1994 by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. It is kinda catchy.
