Rolling Stone magazine ranked James number 22 on its list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time and number 62 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists. She would have been 79 years old today.

Can's drummer, Jaki Liebezeit, passed away on Sunday from pneumonia. He was 78. In addition to playing with Can, he appeared on Brian Eno’s Before and After Science as well as solo records by Neu!’s Michael Rother. He would later collaborate with Depeche Mode and the Eurythmics.
2017 marks Wire's 40th year as a band and they have announced a brand new album, entitled 'Silver/Lead' which is the band's 15th studio album and it will be followed by an extensive set of tour dates to be announced later in the year. The album drops on March 31st
