Singer-guitarist Daniel Ash and drummer Kevin Haskins — who were in Bauhaus, Tones on Tail and Love and Rockets — are reuniting to form a new band called Poptone with Haskins’ daughter Diva. They will perform the music of those three bands during a summer US tour but more importantly, we’re doing a ticket giveaway today for the Poptone show at Neptune Theatre on Friday, June 2nd.
Radiohead comes to Key Arena in Seattle this Saturday, April 8th. The tour has been interesting as they've dusted off some songs that haven't been played in years, including "The Tourist" which hasn't been played in 9-years. pitchfork.com

The band comes to Seattle on Wednesday, May 31st to play at the Moore Theatre, but the show is sold out.

Ulrich Schnauss is a German electronic musician and producer based in London, England. Besides his own projects, Schnauss also provided keyboards and backing vocals on Engineers' third album, In Praise of More. and has been a member of Tangerine Dream since 2014.

Amber's new release "No Coffee” is from her upcoming debut album City Of No Reply due out on Columbia Records this June. The song is a bright lament and intricately layered ode of real longing.She is also the former guitarist/singer for ground-breaking indie band the Dirty Projectors, Amber wrote and recorded her solo album in Los Angeles.
The Shins will be in the great Northwest May 27th in Vancouver, at Sasquatch in the Gorge on the 28th and in Boise on May 29th.
This June marks the release of I Used to Spend So Much Time Alone, their third and finest full-length to date. Recorded live in July of 2016, with producer Matthew Simms (Wire) at Jackpot! in Portland, Oregon (birthplace of some of their favorite Elliott Smith records), it’s a dark and uncommonly beautiful set of moody post-punk that finds the Seattle outfit’s feelings in full view, unobscured by humor. There is no irony in its title: Before she had Chastity Belt, and the close relationships that she does now, singer Julia Shapiro considered herself a career loner. That’s no small gesture….This is a brave and often exhilarating tangle of mixed feelings and haunting melodies that connects dizzying anguish to gauzy ambiguity. It’s a serious record but not a serious departure, defined best, perhaps, by a line that Shapiro shares early on its staggering title track: “I wanna be sincere.”

Singer Evan Dando, in celebrating of the Baby I'm Bored reissue, will be playing some solo shows in Germany and the UK, and a run of intimate shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in May.
