"Rock with You" was written by English songwriter Rod Temperton and he also wrote "Thriller". Temperton was formerly in the band Heatwave, best known for their hit "Boogie Nights" off their "Too Hot To Handle" album. I played the shit out of that album back in the day. There, I said it!
