English indie-rock project Badly Drawn Boy is fronted by Damon Michael Gough, a multi-instrumentalist from Manchester. Damon started this project after meeting Andy Votel at a nightclub. They formed a record label called Twisted Nerve, and Damon released EPs and singles under the moniker Badly Drawn Boy shortly thereafter.

Ken Stringfellow is one of the co-founders of Bellingham, WA group The Posies. Stringfellow, along with other co-founder Jon Auer, recorded their initial demo tape in Auer's parents' basement. They were later picked up by Geffen Records. Stringfellow went on to work with other bands, such as Big Star, The Minus 5, R.E.M., and more.

They kick off their tour in support of this record in their hometown of San Diego on March 7th. The closest they'll get to Seattle on their tour will be on May 15th when they play in San Francisco.
