"Pictures of You" is the fourth and final single from the Cure's album 'Disintegration'. Rumor has it, the inspiration for this song came from a fire that broke out in Robert Smith's home. Days later, Smith was going through the charred remains and came across his wallet which had pictures of his wife, Mary. Her photo became the cover of the single.

FUN FACTS:
The woman in the picture for Surfer Rosa was a friend of a friend. The band and photographer built the set themselves because they couldn’t find the atmosphere they wanted naturally. That came from Black Francis, the fact that he wrote songs in his dad’s topless Spanish bar, and they sort of loaded that with all the Catholicism.

This D.C. trio, led by Taylor from Priests, signed to Domino who will release the band’s debut full-length this summer. While album details haven’t been released, Flasher have shared new single “Skim Milk,” which adds just a splash of ’80s synth to their melodic indie rock style.
This Canadian indie-rock band from Montreal has many influences for their music, here are but a few: the broken soul of Van Morrison; the off-kilter geometry of J Dilla; the dark, French funk of Serge Gainsbourg; the fire of John Coltrane's quartet; Messiaen's synaesthesia; the quirk of Antonio Badalimenti. It sounds like P&A, wide open with room to move.
