From the London band that took their name from the title of a 1994 poem by Thom Gunn. It opens with the lines: "One by one they appear in the darkness: a few friends, and a few with historical names. How late they start to shine! but before they fade they stand perfectly embodied, all."
The third LP from London's The Veils, formed by Finn Andrews after his mother pointed him towards music as a young lad. It would become an escape from the relaxed way of life in the village of Devonport, New Zealand he was living in at the time.
Villagers is the solo effort of Irish singer/songwriter Conor J. O'Brien. He formed the project after the breakup of his band the Immediate in the late 2000's.
