The original version of 23 Minute in Brussels is a recording of a live performance by Suicide on June 16, 1978, at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium, while supporting Elvis Costello and The Clash. That recording was first released as a promo in 1978.
There was a great deal of acrimony during recording of Loaded, and Reed left before it was finished. In his absence, "Sweet Jane" was edited down, with a wistful coda removed from the song. This angered Reed, who told Rolling Stone magazine that if he knew they were going to press on with the album, "I would have stayed with them and showed them what to do." The full version of the song can be heard on the album Live at Max's Kansas City, recorded in 1969.

Elvis Perkins in Dearland is the second studio album by Elvis Perkins, and his first with backing band Elvis Perkins in Dearland, released on March 10, 2009, on XL Recordings.
Upon release, Perkins stated that he did not wish to record another album like its predecessor:
"I'd no interest in making Ash Wednesday II. After the dust had settled I was weary, worn and confused about what had happened, especially that people thought it was so personal. I had a talk with myself as to how I might deal with things second time around. Part of this involved making a band record removed from self and giving three other dudes a say. It's a broader vision."

Jonathan Fire*Eater’s lead vocalist Stewart Lupton died on Sunday at the age of 43, a family member confirmed to Pitchfork. No official cause of death has yet been released. Bows + Arrows was self-produced aside from one song, this one, produced by Dave Sardy. "The Rat" was listed at #20 on Pitchfork's top 500 songs of the 2000s and at #13 on NME's top 100 songs of the 2000s.
The band says this album sounds different from their previous ones but "still [sounds] like Yeah Yeah Yeahs." It was originally set to be released April 13, but following the leak to the Internet on February 22 the band's label, Interscope, released it early. It's Blitz! was named the second best of 2009 by Spin Magazine and third best of 2009 by NME
