New track from M83's upcoming album 'DSVII', inspired by "this vivid memory of Dungeons and Dragons, this childhood sensation of living in an imaginary world set in a faraway past or a lost future." It's the first installment of a three-part film titled 'Extazus', by experimental film director Bertrand Mandico, which will feature music from the new record. The supergroup trio of Sheena Ozzella of Lemuria, Anika Pyle of Katie Ellen and Chumped, and Augusta Koch of Cayetana and Gladie announced this new project a few months ago, after a weekend spent recording in the Poconos resulted in the four-track EP. Their label, Asian Man Records, writes on Facebook, “This is the perfect example of music done for the right reasons, in the right conditions, and with the right people. Best friends enjoying the process of creating together.”

Violinist and vocalist, Sudan Archives writes, plays, and produces her own music. Drawing inspiration from Sudanese fiddlers, she is self-taught on the violin, and her unique songs also fold in elements of R&B, and experimental electronic music.
In an interview with The Fader, Patrick Grossi explained that "My wife and I had recently gotten married and that moment was still very fresh in my mind. This vow, to fully devote yourself to another person, at all cost and forever? Its profound and heavy! I wasn't consciously writing about that per say but the subconscious is a powerful instrument and the music gave me a certain energy, like devotional altar piece but make it slap.
