Kate Bush told the NME: "It was written for John Hughes' film She's Having A Baby. Really light comedy about this young guy who gets married, very much a kid. His wife is pregnant and it's alright until they get to the hospital and the baby's in the breach position. That's the sequence I have to write the songs about and it's really very moving, him in the waiting room, having flashbacks of his wife and him going for walks, decoration... It's exploring his sadness and guilt, suddenly it's the point where he has to grow up. He'd been such a wally up to this point." - www.songfacts.com - www.katebush.com

"The Lion and The Cobra" was Sinéad O'Connor's debut album. The title of the album is from Psalm 91:13 "you will tread upon the lion and cobra." When she was young, a nun gave Sinéad a guitar. She would perform on the streets of Dublin. Eventually she was playing with a band and caught the attention of record execs. She released this album in 1987 and co-produced it as well.

The Faroe Islands' Helena Rebensdorff, aka Brimheim, confides, "Throughout my life, I've behaved in a lot of self destructive ways, attempting to fill this deep, barren void inside of me with everything from drugs to self-harm. But more than anything else, I’ve had to reckon with an unquenchable desire for other people’s approval and adoration, both as a human being and as an artist. "That’s what 'Literally Everything' is about - the overwhelming impulse to sacrifice everything, including my self respect, in exchange for a moment of admiration." tinyurl.com Watch the original video here: youtu.be
