Covered by Cyndi Lauper, "When You Were Mine" is a song originally written and released by Prince on his 1980 album, Dirty Mind, heard earlier.
The TV show, “Pee-wee’s Playhouse“ ran from 1986-1990 and starred comedian Paul Reubens as Pee-wee Herman, and featured a variety of wild and wacky characters and their various interaction at the playhouse.
The theme song to Pee-wee’s Playhouse was sang by Cyndi Lauper. At the time Cyndi didn’t want people to know she sang the theme, because she was afraid it might hurt her album sales, so she was credited as “Ellen Shaw”. Lauper claimed the fact that it was her on vocals in her 2017 memoir Cyndi Lauper: A Memoir.

In Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, the 1985 Tim Burton movie that made Reubens a superstar, Herman asks for a last request before the bikers kill him: a chance to cue up a song on the jukebox and try on the platform shoes of the bar’s cook. And that’s when the fun begins. As the jukebox plays “Tequila,” the Champs’ 1958 Number One instrumental hit.

"Alice Mudgarden" is Alice in Chains with Mark Arm of Mudhoney and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, hence 'Alice Mudgarden!'
It was recorded over the course of five days at London Bridge Studios. Following the tour for Facelift, Alice in Chains entered the studio to record a song for the Cameron Crowe movie Singles, but decided to turn the engagement to their advantage. As the guitarist Jerry Cantrell recalled: "So in the session that was meant for recording that one song ['Would?'], we ended up demoing about 10 songs, which included all the stuff that ended up on the Sap EP, and a couple of others from Dirt.”

In 1983, Stevie Nicks married Kim Anderson. On a drive to Santa Barbara for their honeymoon, Prince’s 1982 hit “Little Red Corvette” came on the radio, and the newlyweds pulled over to buy a tape recorder so Nicks could capture the melody and song in her head on a demo before it was lost.
“All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I’m singing along, going, ‘stand back,’” said Nicks in a 2018 interview. “I’m like, ’Kim, pull over! We need to buy a tape recorder because I need to record this.’ And so we careen off the freeway to find a radio, record shop or something, and we go in and we buy a little tape recorder.”
Instead of celebrating their honeymoon, Nicks stayed up all night writing the lyrics to one of her biggest solo hits.
