Good morning John,
I’d love if you could play anything by Dead Can Dance for me today.
I lost my mother Mary to suicide 22 years ago this week, and today would have been her 69th birthday. She was a nurse and also a talented and accomplished belly dancer, and she loved Dead Can Dance. I hope her spirit is out there somewhere, dancing as she looks over me, my children and my brother.
Music heals.
Thank you,
Linda

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last week and meet with the radiation oncologist next week for treatment options. I was told we caught this pretty early so I suppose I feel fortunate? Nevertheless, I’m very anxious/nervous about the treatments, possible side effects and outcomes. My wife and I are currently struggling with when to tell our adult children (one in grad school and one an undergraduate). I don’t want to derail their academic quarters but I also know my wife and I need to start telling friends and family so we can get the emotional support we need.
Anyway, thanks for “listening.”
