Majical Cloudz was a Canadian music group from Montreal consisting of singer-songwriter Devon Welsh, and variously Matthew E. Duffy and Matthew Otto. The group disbanded in March 2016.
Grace & Dignity came to be in winter 2020 when Benjamin Woods lost his job in lockdown and moved back to his parents’ house. The only work he found find was as a worker at a building site outside of Truro.
From Woods: “It was such a bleak winter – waist-deep in mud digging holes and rolling out turf on top of building waste, really grim stuff, which became the backdrop to the stories I was trying to write." He cited Raymond Carver, Lydia Davis and Richard Hugo as influences for the album.

Hounds of Love received critical acclaim upon its release and it is considered by many fans and music critics to be Bush's best album.
Recording work began for Hounds of Love in Summer 1983 after the studio upgrade, with the album being constructed in preliminary form. Rather than re-record music, Bush took the original recordings and built upon them during the sessions, starting in November 1983. After five months, she began overdubbing and mixing the album in a process that took a year.

The latest signee to Partisan Records—the label home to IDLES and Fontaines D.C.—is Skinny Pelembe. The Johannesburg-born, Doncaster-raised musician shared the news with a new single called "Like a Heart Won't Beat."
“The idea for the piano on this came to me years ago in Amsterdam," Pelembe said. "I didn't know I'd had whatever it was I'd eaten until I started hallucinating…fast forward past seeing myself standing on the roof of the hotel next to me, and thinking I was in the film A Perfect Storm (actually just on a static Chinese all-you-can-eat restaurant boat). Anyway, fast-forward past all that and I'm lying on a bed, seeing Clint Eastwood, playing those chords while he told me I’m ‘base level’ and not getting deep enough. Archers of Loaf are: Eric Bachmann, Matt Gentling, Eric Johnson and Mark Price. Formed in Chapel Hill, NC in the early 90s, they released multiple studio albums, EPs, singles and live recordings through 1998.
The group reformed the original line-up in 2011, and began releasing new music in 2020.
Archers Of Loaf is back after a 24 year hiatus!

“The pandemic was bad for a person like me, who has always used music as therapy but also to make a living. I knew that an angry rock record was going to come out, but I didn’t know it was going to be Archers until the third or fourth song with the tempos all above 120 beats per minute.”

Love Battery was formed in 1989 by former rock band Room Nine leader Ron Nine (b. Ron Rudzitis), guitarist Kevin Whitworth (ex-Crisis Party), bassist Tommy "Bonehead" Simpson (also ex-Crisis Party) and rock band Mudhoney drummer Dan Peters. Their name came from a song of the same name by British punk band the Buzzcocks.
Medicine are perhaps best known for their cameo appearance in The Crow, in which they performed "Time Baby II", although the soundtrack album included a different version titled "Time Baby III" which features guest vocals from the Cocteau Twins' Elizabeth Fraser.
