These tribute days are fantastic! Listening with my friends around the country (Brooklyn, Houston, Denver, Boston etc) and we are all Slacking about what a great year 2002 was for music! Wondering if you could include a little Ladytron - Light & Magic - in here while we are digi'jamin'!
If not, maybe The Decemberists or Polyphonic Spree who both debuted LPs in 2002. Those three LPs were on constant shuffle on my iPod 20gb clickwheel back in the day
Thanks for all you do!

I imagine there are bands out there who've been trying for nearly two years to build themselves back up after Mclusky Do Dallas tarnished their egos by calling them names and wiping its muddy feet on their sofas." - Pitchfork bit.ly
