I checked and I'm eligible! I encourage every veteran to check your eligibility with the VA. You just might be!

Our fearless leader, Jessica Finn Coven, is leaving the City of Seattle’s Office of Sustainability and Environment. We’re sad to see her go and so grateful for all her work combatting climate change. One of her favorite days is Int’l Clash Day, and she participated in KEXP’s Int’l Clash Climate Day last year. We’d be so very grateful if you could play Clampdown by the Clash in her honor tomorrow morning. I’d like to record it and then play it during our virtual happy hour send off tomorrow afternoon.
Thank you!

This song was written to reassure that everything will be all right with life. Lead singer Isaac Brock had lost two close friends in life and felt he needed to be reassured with the good things in life. "I was just kind of fed up with how bad s--t had been going, and how dark everything was, with bad news coming from everywhere," he told the A.V.Club in 2004. "I just want to feel good for a day." - bit.ly

a song that was written by Dan Navarro, the cousin of guitarist Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction.
Stevie Nicks recalled to The Daily Mail October 16, 2009: "I remember the night I wrote 'Dreams.' I walked in and handed a cassette of the song to Lindsey. It was a rough take, just me singing solo and playing piano. Even though he was mad with me at the time, Lindsey played it and then looked up at me and smiled. What was going on between us was sad. We were couples who couldn't make it through. But, as musicians, we still respected each other - and we got some brilliant songs out of it." - bit.ly

“Favor” features backing vocals from her boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers.
“We sang on ‘Favor’ in Nashville the same day we recorded vocals for ‘Graceland Too’ and a song of mine,” Dacus said in a press statement. “That day had the same atmosphere as when we recorded the boygenius EP.”
Bridgers added, “Julien is one of those people whose opinion you want to hear about everything. A true critical thinker with an ever-changing and ridiculously articulate worldview. Her music changes in the same way, and this record is my favorite thing she’s ever done. I’m sure I’ll think the same about the next one.”
