Jessica Dobson dropped by my daughter's virtual Girl Scout meeting on Wednesday to help the troop earn their "Musician" badge. (shout out to Troop 41933 and their fearless leader Emma Woods!) Jessica was very inspiring and even composed a song on the spot about her dog Henry to sing to the girls (he's a bad, bad, bad boy!)

“Favor” features backing vocals from her boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers.
“We sang on ‘Favor’ in Nashville the same day we recorded vocals for ‘Graceland Too’ and a song of mine,” Dacus said in a press statement. “That day had the same atmosphere as when we recorded the boygenius EP.”
Bridgers added, “Julien is one of those people whose opinion you want to hear about everything. A true critical thinker with an ever-changing and ridiculously articulate worldview. Her music changes in the same way, and this record is my favorite thing she’s ever done. I’m sure I’ll think the same about the next one.”
“Favor” is the third track to be released from Little Oblivions, which arrives February 26 via Matador.
