El Perro del Mar is the project of Swedish artist Sarah Assbring. According to a Bandcamp note, this track off new album 'Free Land' is, "about resisting giving in. It’s about freedom of creativity and freedom of thought. It’s also an appraisal of the free artist as well as a reclaiming of creative integrity in an over-commercialized world."

Thanks for playing "People, I've Been Sad."
Unfortunately, I've been singing that song in my head over the last day, since it fits with how things are for me. After literally spending half a lifetime of dealing with health issues, my 81-year-old mother yesterday came across a new health issue and has decided not to undergo yet another surgery. Accordingly, most likely we collectively will shift to home hospice care within the next week.
My family will all get through this ... and certainly, my mother deserves to opt for what she wants to do.
In any case, I appreciate you reading my mind across the many miles and playing a song that reflects what I'm thinking -- yet again.
All the best, and thanks for what you're doing.
Regards.

'Chrome' was intended to be a harder sounding album than 'Ferment', their debut release. It was released in July 1993, and produced by Gil Norton, who also did work for Pixies, Echo & the Bunnymen, Foo Fighters, etc.
Happy 48th birthday today to Brian Molko of Placebo, who told NME in 2017 about this successful single from the band: "I like the music for ‘Pure Morning’, but I’m not very keen on the lyrics. We did it during a b-sides session and we never really thought it would be a single. I just knocked out some lyrics really quickly and didn’t pay too much attention. If I’d have known it was going to be a single I probably would have spent a bit more time on the lyrics."

In a quote from an interview in 2004 with The A.V. Club, Issac Brock said about the positive nature of this song, "I was just kind of fed up with how bad s**t had been going, and how dark everything was, with bad news coming from everywhere. Our president... is just a f*cking daily dose of bad news! Then you've got the well-intentioned scientists telling us that everything is f*cked. I just want to feel good for a day."

You mean you forgot cranberries too?
Thomas writes: POTUSA was my first concert. Went in 8th grade. It was also my first mosh pit, and I broke my glasses. When my mom took me to get the fixed the next day she made me lie about how they broke :). She wasn't mad, just embarrassed. Thanks mom! and thanks John for playing this song.

Doc: My 2 yr old came up from downstairs to say bless you, cause she thought I sneezed.
Thanks for broadcasting smiles to us all.

Peaches don't actually come from a can, but pedantry is definitely not the place for a PUSA song.

Brand new single from Cherry Glazerr! Vocalist Clementine Creevey noted in a statement: “’Rabbit Hole’ is about clawing back my identity. I often find myself acting a certain way to get someone else’s approval. Then it’s hard for me to find myself again.
