Julien Baker joined Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison for vocals on this song, and after his death in May 2018 she stated: "Been trying to find the right words but there are none; Frightened Rabbit’s music had a huge impact on my life, and what interaction we had was always marked by such kindness. My heart is broken for this loss and for those who loved and were close to Scott."
Recorded sometime between 1995-1996 by Jeff Buckley and the Cocteau Twins Elizabeth Fraser. It would not be finished before Buckley's tragic death in 1997. She told the Guardian in 2009 that while recording Massive Attack's "Teardrop" - "I'd got letters out and I was thinking about him. That song's kind of about him – that's how it feels to me anyway."
Known best for the 1999 hit song "Babylon," this one from the English singer is the opening track from his debut album, 'A Century Ends,' released in 1993.

Foals frontman, Yannis Philippakis, explained to Consequence of Sound about this song: "Our ancestors built up, progressed and built civilizations and they built amazing cities. And now at the point of precipice where we're kind of in a perilous situation in many ways socially and environmentally, they're not around to help. And we're not adults. Sometimes I'm just like, where are all the adults?"

Request for Eric, who also added this note: "My wife and I saw We Are Augustines back when they were called that in Cambridge MA. It was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. At the end of the show when people started leaving, maybe 50 people stayed behind. I felt like the show was not over so we hung out. After about 10 mins the band came out and sang acoustic. No electricity. The crowd had to keep quiet and listen as the singer sang with all his might. And of course we all sang along. Still gives me a happy feeling when I think of the connection with the artists. I was proud to be part of it."
Happy 50th birthday Roger! Allison wrote us: "Well, Roger is 50 today. While not the epic party we had hoped to ring it in, he is still the same guy I want to wake up with every damn day. He’s kind, smart, funny, and amazingly good looking for his age. And since he’s always been a touch forgetful, he doesn’t mind me repeating stories and laughs every time. Can you play LCD Soundsystem’s Losing My Edge?"
There's a good chance a lot of these have happened during this pandemic. This album is 3 years old today!

The Roots member noted to Variety about this collab: "On any given day, the space that I occupy in the world is somewhere between a Killer Mike and a Pusha T, between an activist and a street hero, a man of the people and a man of the streets — that’s my origin story. I feel like both of their energies represent my own creative bipolarity.”
