I'm a high school teacher and for the past few years I've requested this song and shouted out to all the hard working and determined teachers starting their school year. This year more than ever they are heroes, continuing to adapt and help students learn in the midst of a global pandemic and remote learning. Thank you to all the teachers out there for all the hours and effort you put in." - Thank YOU Andy, and a very happy birthday from The Morning Show today.

Derek writes in, "There was an accident in Georgetown on Saturday; a Sheriff's deputy had a stroke while driving and crashed into a parked car. In that car was my law school classmate, Sarah Leyrer. She was killed. Sarah was 100% dedicated to justice. Her first job out of school was to represent migrant farm workers in Eastern Washington and most recently worked for the Seattle Office of Labor Standards protecting workers from getting ripped off by their bosses. I learned from spekulation that she was a member of the Bike Brigade protecting BLM protestors. She was someone great, and I would like to request that song in her memory." Another note from listener Matthew K: "I don't know if Save Us Sarah was played in reference to Sarah's passing, but it just surprised me so much, almost as much of the news of her death yesterday. She worked so hard to help others, professionally and personally. Anyone who knew her had their lives touched by her. Seattle was so lucky to have her, and those of us so far away feel her absence from the world, even if we're far away."
