Jim James told Rolling Stone that the idea of releasing the scrapped second half of 2015's 'The Waterfall' album came while he was taking a walk in Louisville during quarantine, and one of the songs popped into his headphones: âAnd then I remembered, âOh, sh*t, we still have whole second half of we never have released, and maybe this will be a great way to connect again with our listeners and kind of connect with ourselves as a band again.â
